“We had a wonderful time staying at Bank House Farm recently for 4 nights. Despite some mixed weather and terrible rain we thoroughly enjoyed the walks along the Manifold Way, which was so close and easy to access from the site. Your facilities are excellent - immaculately clean, modern and warm shower and toilet blocks, especially when the weather was cold and damp, this was very welcome. A really nice touch was the radio being on, making the facilities even more homely. A great inside pot washing and laundry area, again with the radio and book/video collection. The hard standing pitches by the river give wonderful views of the river and countryside beyond. Finally, thank you for your hospitality and chats. We will definitely be back and we will highly recommend the site to everyone we know.”

“What an amazing place! My husband and I have just returned from a Friday to Tuesday trip in the caravan. Our pitch was so beautiful alongside the stream, although we missed a trick and should have had the van facing the stream to take in the view! The owners were very friendly, helpful and very welcoming! Toilets and showers were immaculate and the dog walking field was perfect for when you just need to give the pooch a little run and a quick wee. ”

WALKING & CYCLING

We are ideally situated for exploring all that the Peak District has to offer.

There are numerous walks from the campsite catering for both experienced hikers and those who enjoy a short leisurely stroll. Ask a member of our team for recommended walks.

The Manifold Track (9 mile tarmac track) is within easy reach for walkers and cyclists alike, this links up with the The Tissington (13 miles) and High Peak (17.5 miles) Trails.
