“We visited the site towards the end of October and although it rained, the surroundings were beautiful! The site is very clean, well presented and the facilities were lovely! The staff were very welcoming and accommodating and seemed to always be happy to have a chat. The site location is brilliant too, not too far away from surrounding villages and towns-which are great to visit! Highly recommend this site! Thank you for having us!”

“Stayed here with friends and children and dogs. A lovely site and being pitched in the top field afforded a wonderful view. Being allowed to use or hire fire pits made it really nice to sit round in the evenings. The dog exercise area along with a playing field was extensive and well kept. It's a lovely location next to the river, although personally with kids I wouldn't wanted to have camped next to the river with the obvious safety issues. The facilities are very clean and well kept.”

“I always say "if we come away from a site saying we would go back then it's a good site". Bank house farm is definitely a good site. Very well run and very clean. The shower and toilet blocks where very clean and modern. The little shop was well stocked. You can hire fire pits and buy wood from the shop/reception. The site has wardens (most sites don't seem to have them). One night during our stay a pizza company came with a wood fire pizza oven.”
